Wendelien van Oldenborgh has been using a historical text, as well as people participation, as a basis for her art work production. In "No False Echoes", she uses the famous text "Als Ik eens Nederlander was" (Seandainya Aku seorang Belanda) to reflect on the meaning of colonialism, and the memory relationship between the Netherlands and Indonesia.
